Absolutely SpongeBob SquarePants Movie Review

We took the kids to see the movie on Sunday, my four and two year old. They were excited, needless to say, and couldn't wait for the movie to start. I couldn't wait either but, my husband can't stand SpongeBob and didn't want to be there. In other words, had something happened to which the movie would not have been able to play, we might have saw him smile sitting in the dark theater.
"It's for the kids, Hun." I told him...Even though I was going to enjoy it as well.
Finally, after what seemed forever, it starts. The kids were spell bound. They sat through the entire movie and were good! Even my husband enjoyed the movie for some of its antics. It was excellent.
SpongeBob is just a cute, lovable, simple, and good little innocent guy. There is always silliness but, if you look back at some of it there are good messages in the show. He teaches the kids not to cuss. He teaches them responsibility. Al-be-it in a strange and silly way but, he does indeed teach some valuable lessons. The most important is to be yourself and not try to conform to what you don't believe in just to be part of the "in" crowd. In this day and age...That is extremely important. Besides, there's less violence in it than "Tom and Jerry" or "Looney Toons."
