So...Is Halloween really Grinch Night?

I own the movie and remember watching it on television as a child and they advertised it as being so. According to the movie, however, grinch night comes only when the sour-sweet wind starts blowin' ...Maybe we'll have a sour-sweet wind on the 31st. One thing is for sure, the grinch will not be coming to my house for Halloween!
Does anyone else remember that movie?
